   Jose Luis at Embody Wellness Spa is awesome! He is a licensed
   physician in Mexico who practices massage therapy here. I have been
   seeing him for help with severe sciatica which required a discectomy.
   He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and very helpful. If you need a
   restorative massage from a wonderful healer, you should see him. Call
   650-938-8100. I have tried many massage therapists, but I am finally
   a happy client.

   I really enjoyed my massage with David. The first time I was in the place was clean and relaxing. The next time there was a dirty mattress against the wall. The facility has seemed to take a turn for the worse, but David is amazing. He really hits all the right spots and takes his time.

   First let me preface this by saying I had a facial there with christine? and she was wonderful! The facial was relaxing and I felt great afterwards. My 2 stars are for the massage. My massage was given by Louis. He was sick. Yes, sick. He had a nasal strip across his nose so he could breathe. He was breathing out of his mouth, coughing, clearing his throat, sucking on a throat losenger, and talking to me the entire time. The hour couldn't have been over quick enough. I was disgusted, and it IS my fault that I didn't have the heart to just reschedule when I saw he was sick. Needless to say, 2 days later I got sick, and have now been sick for 2 weeks. It was the most unrelaxing massage I've ever had. Not to mention, his technique was rough and not relaxing at all. This is a shame because the facility is really beautiful and relaxing. My boyfriend called them to complain (because he had given me a gift card for the holidays) and they just said they would make a note. No offer to refund or a free massage with someone else. I plan on writing a formal letter to management,but I won't be returning.
   This is a follow up to my review above. The manager at Embody called me and apologized profusely for the experience I had. She offered me another massage, by a different masseuse free of charge. I accepted because I really liked everything else about the spa. This time the massage was great. Jen was kind and did a great job. Thanks to Embody for making things right. I will definitely be returning :)
