OUT OF BUSINESS - Manager blames the poor quality of folks in the area for lack of workforce. IT'S POOR MANAGEMENT! If you train them, you will succeed.
Talkin' Burgers? Ohhhh yeah!! This place produces my friend. My wife and I loved the setting....Peanut shells all over the ground and as much of the little critters as you can eat. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the old road house days (which is what they are attempting to do here) and the waitress we had was one of the nicest ladies we ever had serve us. She was knowledgeable about local Kentucky history, but not so overbearing that we were annoyed with her company.
At first we started with an appetizer which was huge...the onion something or other. Basically it was this giant onion deep batter fried to perfection and served with an excellent dippin' sauce.
I ordered the Ranch Bacon Cheeseburger which was made over a nice open pit fire as all burgers should only be made.
Lastly, the best aspect of eating here is Reno's special bourbon sauce....Dear Lord, this sauce (when properly used by dipping your meat into it and not draping it on anything) makes every aspect of your taste buds stand at attention and salute.
I walked out of there EXTREMELY satisfied with both the quality of the food as well as the waitstaff. I might even attempt to order one of their steaks next time around, but this would be rare (no pun intended), due to the fact that I order my steaks hand cut from a butcher and "Q" them myself! But the meat was that good and I might just do this next time around.
We shall see.
