Very rude Management. Went to the place with a valid Restaurant.com Certificate and was treated like a criminal. Worst experience ever and will let everyone know to avoid this place.
Fantastic. Have eaten there several times. Pricey but worth it! Have eaten there on a holiday (Easter) and had a birthday celebration there. Never had to wait, got requested chef twice (John), and always wonderful service, food, and atmosphere. Love it. We eat there as often as we can afford it.
I have dined here a few times and find it to be OK. Not fabulous, not bad either. The service is great. Thier chldren's menu is pretty good compared to other Japanese restaurants in the area, however the cut off age is 9 instead of 12 like the others and they make no exception. I disagree and having a just turned 12 yo daughter can pretty much be the deal breaker for me. I don't want to pay $20 for a filet mignon that she will only have a few bites of because she will be filled up on the rice, veggies and all the other stuff that comes with it.
The food is ok. It lacks flavor. The salad dressing is too tart for me (personal preference). The sauces they use just lack flavor. My filet was cook to my liking but had more fat on it than I like and was chewy. I had a better, melt-in-your-mouth, sliced like butta' filet at Bonefish Grill the other night that was way better than the one I had here. Would I go again? Probably, if someone else wanted to go, but for now I'll stick to Otani.
