This was by far the best Franchised resturant experience I have ever had.

I had just graduated from Florida State University yesterday and had reservations at 8:15. We called at 6 hoping to get in earlier, and they said if we could be there at 7:00, they would give us a table. And behold...they got us a table amidst all the rush.

While eating, we had a very friendly waitress and enjoyed hearing other waitresses and the hostesses singing to tables in Opera and other Italian songs.

The best part came near the end when they got everyone in the restaurant rallied up, and brought the Chef out to give some words to the graduates. He spoke to the whole restaurant, and then stated that 5 tables had a card under their chairs to help pay the cost of eating that night. 5 Families went home with a free meal...

Then they let some people break their dishes on the floor in the best of Italian tradition. This is a place where you can tell the employees, even down to the bartenders enjoy their job.

The best part was when I asked the waitress to get us someone to sing. When the hostess came to our table to sing, I started singing with her. They tried to get me to sing to the whole resturant, but I was too nervous. Either way, it was great FEELING the togetherness with the staff...something you can't feel at Olive Garden.

All around, this truly was the best dinner I could have asked for in Tallahassee...the best dinner with my family....and the best experience ever with the Macaroni Grill. Thank you so much!!!

WORST Macaroni Grill - ever! I used to go to one in Brandon which was great - this one was awful - the 2 salads we got had awful rubbery chicken in one chopped shrimp in another - small it was a Caesar salad with awful lettuce and very small...the bread was covered with salt..I will never go back!

This restaurant very well deserves an "A". It was just wonderful..It is has dim lights so it's very special for a date:) if you're ever in the area i would recommend you eat here and ask for Dwight!!!!
