User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsKeep this one under your hat! They have enuff business!!! Only been there twice,so far... Fantastic food and service on the first visit... So I decided to take a date there... Glad I did... I Called to make reservations,but they said there was a 2 week waiting list...So I thought I would risk it, and drive the 30 mins, and hope to luck out with a table at the bar... Well while walking up to the door, and seeing a lot of people waiting for tables, I saw the owner walking in behind me, He remembered me from a month and ahalf ago, and he saw I had a date... He asked how it was going,I said good, but I hope we can get a table...He smiled and said walk this way.... He walked us right in, past all the waiting folks. and sat us at a great table, that looked as if it was waiting for us.. Wow!! did I look good in front of my girl!!! She was quite impressed, as was I... And the food? well you will have to see for yourself... But don't tell anyone!! I would say make reservations, at least 2 weeks ahead of time, because " I got lucky" Also you will want to have a nite cap,or two... across the street, at the martini bar... Just leve your car parked where it is and walk across the street....Great drinks,and live music at least on Saturdays!! cozy,and clean.they have a fireplace and nice leather couches to hang out in... All ages of people... These two places will guarantee you a great evening, rather it's your first date, or your 27th anniversary!!! Enjoy!!

Why are there only 5 stars?
My husband and I live right down the road from this fabulous restaurant, and we love it. We order out at least once a week and they will customize any dish for you. The vesuvio chicken is one of my favorites!! I can even get gluten-free pasta!!
Their garlic mashed potatoes are awesome, their bread is fresh and warm, Phil's hospitality is awesome, and Tammy can juggle everyone at the bar without anyone feeling neglected.
The waitresses are friendly (and attractive), and their service is efficient and attentive.
The hand painted Tromp L'oile (?) murals are really amazing and really help to make the ambiance spot on. Right now they have the place decked out for Christmas and it is breathtaking.
