I was not impressed by the store's no-return policy. My daughter's wedding was cancelled because her husband's military leave was postponed due to potential transfer/deployment. We had bought her wedding dress off the rack at David's Bridal in Eau Claire and we did not alter the dress in any way, yet the store would not accept it back and refund the money. I think this is pretty poor customer service especially when it comes to reasons that are military related.

I don't know what the people in the other reviews are talking about. I had GREAT service at David's, and I would definitely recommend it to any friend. I first looked at dresses on their website, and then I called and they took the numbers of the dresses I wanted to try on. When I arrived, they had the dresses pulled and ready for me to try on! They even got the undergarments size right on the first try. I also ordered the flower girl dresses that match my wedding dress through davidsbridal.com. My bridesmaid dresses came on clearance at Davids and only ended up being $129.00 and they are beautiful! Also, my dress was on sale and I got it and the veil (which has embroidery in the lace and a colored ribbon edging) for under $700.00. I even got to meet with the seamstress they day I bought my dress, who was also very nice, and worked with my schedule to get a date and time that was perfect for me to have my fitting! She also gave us estimates of how much the different kinds of bussels would cost and how much it will be to take my dress in. Also, the color issue with the tuxedos is so simple, because the colors at David's go with the colors that Men's Warehouse have since they are affiliated. This way my hubby can't possibly mess up the color of the vests! (He has it drilled into his brain, APPLE RED). I thought David's had an excellent selection, great service, and every time I went back in to try on dresses again (before I actually purchased mine) and look at jewelry, etc., the clerks were eager to help and friendly.

Davids Bridal in Eau Claire, WI is a JOKE. The woman that work there are so rude, disrespectful, and unhelpful. They are there to work with customers and accomodate their needs on their special day, occasion whatever it may be. In my case I was their browsing for wedding dresses for my special day. I walked into the doors and the lady at the table in front of the door just stared at me. After she gave me looks of disgust she told me to circle all the dresses in a magazine that I wanted to try on. They brought me to a room and told me that the dresses I had selected were not in my size at the store and that i wouldnt be able to try them on.. I was very disappointed. And even if they did find one of the dresses I had selected it was like 3 sizes to small so i didnt get the full effect of what it would look like. These people only had dresses for really big people or really tiny people.. what about the inbetween.. they definatley did not accomodate me or my needs. They also like to bring you dresses that are your size.. and be aware of the pricetag because she brought me all expensive dresses. After I had tried on my first dress i walked out to see my mother in law and my sister in law looking at me with smiles but then the lady who was helping me just looked at me like i was retarded and she didnt care.. they also tend to talk to their other coworkers and dont pay attention to you sitting and waiting around for them to help you with your dress. They also give you a cheap garbage bag to put your dress in, dont you think if your spending money on a dress there that they would have the decency to give you a bag where you couldnt see your dress through or have to worry about it ripping. I would definatley not recommend this place to anybody... save yourself the time and humiliation
