Wait staff is pretty darn good, as are the bouncers. That said the exception is as follows.

Bartenders are the exception as is management. Liam apparently can't deal with customers getting along and flirting at the front bar and gets competition (aka male customers) thrown out

Haven't experienced being thrown out myself as I always had a great experience there, but did see someone get thrown out because of him. Ask me for details. Because of this I won't be returning, as service and bartending skill are everything coming from the midwest.

just went to the new one in Ballston/Arlington. The food was good, but I think the wait staff was extrememly overwhelmed for a busy friday night. Waitress/kitchen forgot our appetizers, side salad and soups, as well as forgot to add the extra seafood ordered with one of the entrees. Had to ask for water three times. Manager was excellent though, made sure we were satisfied at the end. Will try and go back one more time since the food was good.

Awesome place to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night if you don't feel like driving into DC. Great music and small but adequate dance floor. You can even play pool. Drinks are average priced. A great time and still can stay local. I love it that people can just come as they are, casual. No need to dress up!!
