The people up there are so rude and unprofessional. They don’t tell you anything before they add it on to you bill. It also seemed like they knew (on more than one occasion) how to not fix the problems completely to keep you coming back. I have been going there for a while and I am done with their crap.
My visit today with my 16+ year old Cocker Spaniel was disappointing. My dog has been Dr. Gully’s patient for many years, and for more time than I can remember, she has received the same ear treatment, performed in the same way—almost routine. Today, for some reason, it was decided without informing me, that an ear-cytology would be added, a completely superfluous procedure. Even worse, the assistant placed the cotton swabs on the floor before using them in her ears. Plus for the first time in years I also received pills for the same condition. At the end of the visit, I was shocked at the cost: it was much higher than I had ever paid for the same treatment. Had the assistant spoken with me before doing it, or just looked at her chart, this would not have happened. Also the assistant mentioned that the dog was overdue for her shots, which Dr. Gully decided long ago that she should not get because of her age. I am wondering how the charts are kept. Today I had the impression that I was in a supermarket where products are put in your basket without you knowing, and found out at the end of the visit how much I had bought.
My 11 month old chihuahua mix was spayed yest. and the procedure was done incorrectly (by the TEXAS COALITION ANIMAL PROTECTION). She was internally bleeding and very lethargic. I was recommended to the Gully clinic by another vet. As soon as we arrived at the clinic, they immediately took my Roxxy to be prepped or emerency surgery, had her taken care in about 40 minutes and was so resonably priced. Dr ranklin was the vet takin care o her and even was goin to take her home with him when he thought she wouldn't be stable thru the night. He save my puppy and he now gained a new client!! UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY!!!
