good food. beachin nachos make a great meal! large portion & not that costly. Kimberly is a great bartender (a couple of the others could use some manners courses.) Day & late afternoon manager can always been seen as opposed to prvs review. menu prices arent that bad. if you havent been here since they have opened you need to give them another shot.
Needs some management!!!: I took the kids and my Mother for lunch in July 2007 at the Highland Village location. Six untrained and clueless girls stood by the front door and gabbed until my Mother and I interrupted them and asked for a table (a strange feeling since no one else was there to be seated). The waitress had very little knowledge of the food or drink menu and must have started waiting tables that day because service was very poor. The manager was no where to be seen. The inside was hot and humid (little A/C if any) so we sat outside. The kids loved playing in the sand with other children so that was a big hit. They even provide some toys for them to play with. The food was not bad but not that great either. It is about what you would expect at a resturant on a lake. The cocktails were good but took forever (and it was not that busy). Overall, I would recommend this resturant if you are looking for something to give your kids to do and you do not care about the rest. Advice: Wear light clothing if it is hot.
great food and service: excellant for the kids.
