Our party of 4 visited Picazo before the Sunday, June 29 Astro's game. We were very disappointed. The website tells of a Sunday Brunch, but there was not one. We ordered 2 alcoholic drinks and 2 soft drinks. The alcoholic drinks were forgotten. The 'steak burgers' were frozen patties placed on small buns with squeeze mayo, not the one described on the menu - "gigantic Steakburger. Served w/ sliced tomatoes, lettuce, onion, pickles, chipotle mayo & French fries". There was no onion, pickle, or chipotle mayo! The platters had been sitting under the heat lamp for many minutes as we had to ask twice for someone to check on our meal. One member of the party did not get their pizza when the rest of us got our burgers and had to wait 15 extra minutes. We arrived at 11 am, thinking two hours was plenty of time to eat and get to the stadium, but we barely made it after insisting someone check on our meal and bring the check. The location is wonderful and the place has character, but we will be looking for other options when we eat before other games - we are season ticket holders, so this could be many times!
GREAT Asset Near the Ballpark!: Great food! Great atmosphere! Plus, they don't charge $7 for a beer, just because you're near the ballpark!
