User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe starter battery in my '03 Prius died. I had a replacement battery but am not very mechanical and was a little intimidated by the prospect of replacing it myself. I figured it would be trivial for a decent mechanic, so I called Bonney Automotive and made an appointment for the next day.
The place was a little hard to find, but when I pulled into their lot, the mechanic came out to meet me (in the rain), shook my hand, introduced himself and said "Hi, we talked yesterday, come on in!". Throughout the process he was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional, and because it was such a simple operation he asked only that I "spread the word" in exchange. Since I'd already started composing this review in my head by then, I had no problem with that arrangement. ;)
I've been looking for a trustworthy mechanic to use for a while now, and am very glad to have found one. Highly recommended!-

I was looking for A Honest Mechanic Online and came across these reviews During My search so I figured I would give the Guys at Bonney Automotive a Try. I was a little weary at first because I have been taken advantage of before by a few repair shops that I will not name but this was a totally different and pleasent experiance! The Mechanics there were really friendly and not to mention curtious and professional. The Manager took the time to look up different prices from different Part dealers to get the best price possible, Needless to say after the awsome service I received I have deffinately found My mechanic so I strongly sugest you try them out! Thank you Joe and the rest of the guys at Bonney Automotive you will be seeing me soon!

This is a great car place. They took great care of my car and was the best price I found. I like the way the operate and explained everything to me like a person. I also found out later they support RESPOND, and do a lot of other things in Somerville and Medford. I will be going back every 3000 miles. One thing they are located at 640 Boston Ave five doors down from Broadway going tword Tufts.
