This is by far the best sushi in Cache Valley.
Don't let the outside appearance of the building shy you away.
The food is first rate.
Don't expect traditional sushi, this is an americanized sushi.
The golden California roll is a 12 out of 10.
I go to this place once a week.
Great food GREAT price great service and a great feel.

Happy Sushi looks shabby on the outside. The building is tiny and the landscaping hasn't seen a lawnmower in years. The outside appearance kept me from entering the place.
Last week, after reading the positive reviews I went inside. The restaurant was quaint and suprisingly elegant. The service was first rate. What impressed me the most about Happy Sushi was the high quality of the food and the low price.
I tryed some tuna sushi (4.50 for a tray of 8 rolls), and had the teriaki steak meal complete with temputa veggies, soup, rice ect.
I went back 2 days later and my son and I had "lunch boxes". I had the teriaki salmon (complete like the steak meal) plus 4 california rolls each. There was more food than I could eat and the bill for two was $19.00.
I disagree with an above comment about the grumpy chef. He is a proper Japanese gentleman, who was quite dignified and professional. He did grimace a little when a table of loud talking Americans detracted from the overall peacefulness of the restaurant.
Overall, and I've been to hundreds of restaurants, Happy Sushi is one of my top five EVER. It is perfect in every way. I wouldn't change a thing.
