I have to compliment a GREAT CUT OF FILET!
They have the BEST cuts of beef! Tender!!!
Make sure if you order teppan that you order something with filet.
The salad dressing needs a little work and the fried rice is a tad bland (go with a little more garlic, butter)... but, with those being the only faults in an otherwise flawless dining experience. The waitress was very polite, friendly and gave great service (I tend to tip accordingly and she did well). The chef put on quite a show, very funny, pretty talented but most of all fun!
The sushi was good. Sashimi, rolls all very fresh and high quality fish. Good balance of ingredients.
The prices were a LOT lower than at some of the other Japanese Steakhouses in MN. I compensated though by buying a LOT more sushi!
All in all, an unbelievable value for the money.
Oh, and if you want to freak someone out on their birthday... this is the place to bring them (or is it humilate them? I seem to forget...)
i am a regular customer at osaka mainly because of its close proximity and excellent food. i live in rosemount and i go to osaka at least once a week for hibachi or sushi. the atmosphere is nice and casual unlike the sushi place down the street (kami) ...i would recommend bringing a large group if you are going to do the hibachi dinner where they cook for you it is great for birthdays as well they give you deep fried ice cream and bananas and play a borderline annoying version of happy birthday with disco lights....kinda cheesy but fun. if you are going to eat the sushi go on tues or fri ....i talked to the chef and that is when they get most of the fish delivered.....the best is the tuna and uni...you also should try the white tuna if they have it ....it is amazing . the service is good as long as it isnt very busy which is understandable and the drinks are alway good and strong....i recommend the giant 22 oz sapporo beer it pairs well with everything there. you defenantly should stop by and try it out it is much more affordable than going downtown especially with these gas prices.
Osaka is the very Best Japanese Seafood and Steakhouse I have had the pleasure of dinning at. Since my wife and I discovered it we go there all the time now! I travel for business a lot and have tried many other Japanese Steakhouseâs so believe me when I say this is the very best you will ever get! I will blow your mind it is so good. I have taken friends here who were very scared about trying something new and now they canât get enough of this place either. I promise that you will not leave disappointed!
