User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt was good, table was sticky. I thought the prices were a bit high and have typical deepfried bar food. Nothing outstanding. And I have been to every restaurant in Walker. Dining room is a lot better and the full dinner menu is pretty good.

We were there the week before Memorial Day and they were actually open. Most places in that area only open for the Memorial to Labor Day peak season. The service, food and cleanliness are exceptional. I haven't been to all the restaurants in Walker but this is the best one I've been to. And, certainly one of the best in the Walker, Park Rapids, Dorsett, Bemidji area. Try the walleye sandwich for lunch. It's delicious!

Yes the Lucky Moose is great but the restaurants in Walker are open all year long. Some may be closed on a Sunday in the winter but otherwise they are open. Maybe you should try visiting Walker in the winter to see how much there is to offer....snowmobiling, skiing, ice fishing, etc. I believe there is only one restaurant that closes in the winter and that is in Dorset.
