Loon Lake Services thanks for Everything. My cars running like a champ now. Looking forward to doing business with you again.
I have taken my cars here several times and this last time, Dave the owner towed my truck and told me he would take a look at it after the New Year. He called both my son and I and told us that the total would be $1100 for the repair. I informed him at that time that the amount was a bit much for what I could handle at that time and was there something he could do that would just get it running and he said not that was the lowest. I asked for an estimate to be sent to Nissan who claimed the amount was too high and he did not send it nor did he provide me with a copy. Later in about a week he called and said the car was ready and I again informed him that I was unable to pay such a large amount but would try and make 2 payments. He said to let him know and that he could receive messages via cell. I began working overtime to try and come up with the money and chose to send him text messages to let him know where I was financially rather than phone calls so I could keep copies since he was upset that I did not have the money ready for him right away. In any case, I called him 2/18/09 to let him know I was ready to pick up my car and he informed me that I would have to pay the attorney because he turned the case over to him because he claimed he had not heard back from me and the only way I could get my car back was to pay the $1150 for the repairs and also his attorney $475. I told him this was not fair and pointed out the messages I'd sent him and also the fact that I shared with him from the beginning that it would take me some time to come up with such a large amount of money and he said...I have bills to and you did not tell me you were going out of town. I told him I'd gone out of town on a business trip for 4 days only...not sure why I should have shared that...in any case, I also asked why he didn't call me son as he'd done before if he felt he was unable to reach me and if he has a Nextel and can get messages, why hadnât he received mine and that I could show proof that I'd sent them. Also, I asked why didn't he mail me anything that stated I'd run out of time to come up with the money and he claims he did, but I have not gotten anything. I don't understand why he's doing this when in good faith I was honest with him from the very beginning and shared with him it would be difficult for me to come up with that amount and I didn't even ask him to begin the work nor did I sign anything. It would have been better if he'd just waited until I was able to pay for the work and then we wouldn't be in this situation, but he says I told him verbally to do the work and I did not because I did not have the money at that time, so he forced my hand and is now attempting to get an additional $500 out of me for an attorney...

Dear Owner of the Nissan. You could have easyly told the owner you did not want your car fixed. thats what estimates are for. you could have easly picked your vechile up and brought it somewhere else. Now your giving bad wrap on someone who has helped you out in the past. who you felt was a good mechanic. Mans got to pay his bills just like you should pay yours
