Thought that this " Gumbo Jumbo " that I had tried look good... But not good as it really sounds. is the foods is terrible. The waitresses didn't pay any attention to any of the woman customers,( just the men tagged along with them). I mean, hello wake up! Do your job, flirting with customers and doing a lousy job even customer 50 years old and broke will even get hit on. I will never come back here again. That was the worse restaurant that I will ever & never go there again. Just a warning, the food suck and the service is terrible especially when the waitress is the owners' daughter.
Great food, good service and a great band! Just don't order your meal "spicy". My husband eats nothing but spicy food had a hard time handling it:)
I took my stepson here last night. He is a big fan of Cajun food. I was very surprised, We ordered Blackend Cat Fish for the appetizer, It was perfect, I wish I ordered this as my main course. We both had a bowl of the Famous Gumbo. It very tasty. The portion was huge, the gumbo had a kick to it, but not overwhelmingly spicy. For our entrees we both ordered Jambalaya, I ordered the short rib jambalaya, my step son ordered the traditional. I didn't care too much for mine, the flavors did not seem right. My step son's was very good.
The service was very good and the owner checked with us and wanted feedback. This is a wonderful place! I will be going back for sure.
