My husband loves the Seafood buffet with the crab legs and I enjoy the steak and fried chicken. The employees are always very friendly and work hard to make sure you are well taken care of.
I eat here a couple of times each month. It has always been very good. And very affordable. The service is good and the owner or manager(not sure)is really on top of things. He seems to really work hard to make sure you are satisfied. I could go on and on but long story short...I really enjoy this establishment.
I went there last night and the food was very good! My booth was comfortable and the surroundings were clean. I ate from the buffet which selections included fried fish, fried chicken, meat loaf, beef tips, ribs, mashed taters, sweet taters, rice, gravy, green beans, black eyed peas, and a cheesy pasta dish (YUMMY). They also had the usual salad selections found on most salad bars including cold shrimp! The banana pudding looked great with vanilla wafers and slices of bananas and it didn't appear to be pudding from a can. I opted for the chocolate cake with chocolate and german chocolate icing. Very good! the waitress was attentive, but the best was when the owner brought out a small platter of fresh fried shrimp and gator tail to aquaint us with some of their other menu offerings. Oh YEAH! I'll be back. The shrimp was fried cloud light and was so dang good it made my tongue want to beat my brain out! And it's not too bad on the wallet. For two people it cost less than $20 plus a tip.
Good food! Good service! Good price! Good Going Lake House Restaurant!!! I'll be back.
