    I was on a two day trip down the Lower Sac with my Buddy Jim and our Guide Joshua. Jim and I are beginning anglers and really learned a lot and caught almost 2 Dozen Trout and a nice Steellhead on the second day. I encourage anyone interested in fly fishing to do this trip. You will get hooked I promise!!!

    Spent the day fly fishing the Feather River with Cpt John Barry. He was everyting you could want in a guide. Patient and knowledgable. He taught techniques without over teaching. I hooked onto a fantastic steelhead that jumped out of the water a half dozen times and made a number of great runs. The strike was downright violent. It was a a great experience. I caught a few more fish, but that one was all I needed. We had a great day. My wife got her snobby wine and I had the fishing experience of a life time.

    Excellent day of fishing! All we were hoping for is to learn a few fly-fishing techniques and to get out of the city for a day. Within 15 minutes of our first cast, we landed a 2-pound wild rainbow. Within another 10 minutes we landed a 5-pound wild rainbow…awesome. Our guide (Greg) changed our flies over and over until we got bites. He was picking up stones and catching bugs out of mid air to see what they were eating. Over the course of the day we had constant bites and landed a handful...Excellent day of fishing!
