User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI was out in LA on a really rough business trip, and needed some comfort food. I'd read about Meltdown Etc on the JuliB site, and realized it was right near where I was working. Lucky for me! The sandwich I had was Brie with apricot jam on nut bread. The exact sort of indulgent comfort I needed, and for only like 5 bucks! If I was hungrier I would have tried theyr'e tomato soup (always the appropriate side for a cheese sandwich0. I'll definitely try Metdown again next time I'm out in LA. It looked like they had some goat cheese sandwiches worth checking out.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNice Place!: I didn't really know what to expect, but had heard good things. I figured a place that specialized in grilled cheese and tomato soup couldn't be all that bad. I ended up getting a tuna melt and it was fab! They do grilled peanut butter and banana sandwiches and will put bacon on most things. Really worth trying. Gourmet grilled treats.
