User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDr. K-J, as many people call her, is very famous for being a skilled surgeon. She is the OBGYN for many local doctors and their families. She is very good with complex cases and surgeries and is well respected by others in the medical field. Her only flaw is that she tends to run very late because she spends a lot of time with each patient and does not cut people short when she is already running late (which many doctors do to catch up on time). For simple stuff like birth control, see her nurse. If you need a surgery, Dr. K-J is higly recommended by other surgeons and their wives.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsDr. Lynde Knowles-Jonas is HORRIBLE and very unprofessional. My daughter made a simple request not to have the student in the room during the exam (she looked to be a teenager) and the 'Dr' snapped at my daughter and basically told her if she didn't like it to find a new doctor. When we went for her scheduled sonogram at the hospital we were told the doctor had called and cancelled the test. We took off work for the test, how petty and unprofessional that her office didn't notify us. We have called 3 times for her records they haven't cooperated. I have been going to doctors for years and have never met one so unprofessional and petty.

You did not mention what tone was used when you told her you did not want the student observer. Doctors are human and if you were rude or said something like "hey get out" to the student, she may have said something back. Looking young does not make someone stupid. You have the right to ask for no other people in the room (in a nice way), but 18 year olds can be student nurses or med students. I have met doctors who are only 24. I know Dr. K-J very well and she is a famous surgeon. I know several people who she saved their lives. She is the OBGYN for many doctors here in town and doctor's wives. This sounds like a personal issue. I know a lot of people who would recommend her in a flash for any complex GYN issue or as an OB.
