D & J Cleaning Services

i called d&j to clean my apartment that i was moving into, it was filthy and unbearable. but before i moved in i had them clean and i was shocked how clean they got it.i didn't even recognize it. i would absolutely use them again. i recommend if you need anything cleaned exceptionally well i would call d&j cleaning services, like no other around.

Complain 1: The cleaning lady does not speak English
Complain 2: Though my house is a bit far but accessible by train 15 minute walk, was 4 hours late and had to come back the next day. Didn't call to explain why she was late, I had to call to see what had happened.
Complain 3: Explained in detail many times to the English speaking person in charge, but still came very unprepared
Complain 4: Broke one of my custom wood doors, spoke to the owner said he will call back..left at least 2 messages and still waiting for return call... have not called back and has been 3 weeks.. thinking of reporting it to BBB soon.
Complain 5: Cleaning was poor. The house was empty (no furniture) prepared for cleaning but the house was not cleaned at all. I had to redo the entire house. Floor was not washed it was just wiped over (more like sweeping over the floor with thirty mop and water for the entire house). Though the fridge was dirty to begin with (and was explained over the phone prior coming over to clean that it must be cleaned) I had to clean it again. Spraying fantastic does not mean it will clean itself, I had to redo it.

One plus, She did do a good job dusting the stairs which I only have 8 steps. I paid so much just to have someone dust.. I could have done it myself.

Obviously I had to hire out to help clean because I had no time to do it myself but at the end I had to clean the entire house myself, what a waste of time and money. Because they still have not claimed responsibility, came unprepared, poor cleaning I would only give them 1 star. Would not recommend.

HEY D&J when are you plaining to return my calls.. I'm still waiting.. I left over 2 messages and was promised that you will call back it has been 3 weeks. I told Myriam that the door was broken the day the cleaning lady was done, which I know she is aware of it and said I'll call back if I can't fix it. You can either send someone over to look at the door and pay for damage or I can give you an estimate up to you. You still need to pay for damage.

Arranged to have only my bathroom and kitchen deep cleaned and what I received was less than a general cleaning.. ...nothing was moved to clean behind or under small appliances or under counter....when I asked the cleaning person if she had mopped the bathroom floor she responded yes, so then I asked her how had she cleaned it and she proceeded to tell me with Fantastic and a wet cloth....so I then asked her for the Fantastic that she used and sprayed it on the bathroom floor and used a wet cloth to wipe it...the cloth came up dirty, black and dusty....it was obvious that she had not done it at all......In addition, only where the bathroom tile was exposed (where the tile had something in front of it i.e, clothes hanging or small bureau) theyt did not get done until I pointed it out to her that she needed to do it......the inside door of the refrigerator was done but not the outside of the refrigerator....To add insult to injury, she took 3 hours to do what she did do......then she had the nerve to get upset when I told her I was not satisfied with the job.....I refused to pay the full amount agreed upon and paid less than half instead.....will never again use this service............
