Los Compas is my favorite place for Mexican food in Liberty. They have a great bean/cheese dip, very good tamales--the flavor and amount of pork is just right! The waiters are friendly, attentive, and best of all, I can practice my Spanish with them.
Great food, great ambiance and great prices! 
User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsDecent food and service. The prices are pretty reasonable, and their lunch specials are great on a budget. Easy to get in and out on your lunch hour. I knocked off a star because their salsa goes way overboard with the cilantro!

The Cilantro is what makes it the best in town. I was born and raised in Denver for 30 years. Los Compas in the best mexican food in town that does not totally cater to the bland midwest taste buds.
Or maybe some of us just don't care for the taste of cilantro. Perhaps too little oxygen for 30 years has caused you not to think things through before you say them.
I moved up here from Texas and haven't found any Mexican food in the KC area. No offense, but Midwest Mexican is pretty weak all around
