    The Banana Hut is one of a kind! I tried Hawaiian bbq in Santa Cruz, Ca and its just not the same, no Shoyu chicken or pork, no poi...Theres no love or wakyness put into it! I miss Banana Hut :( Trust me, youll never forget this place, your stomach will tell you to come back!! ha ha ha...

    The food was Ono!!!I lived on the Sunset Side on Oahu and have missed the food and was very happy when i found out about this place. I ordered the Kalua Pork and it was just like i remembered when i use to go to Zippy's for a plate lunch ~ the macroni salad was spot on!!!Just wished that they were closer to town since i don't have a car. My only disappointment was the Haupia it watery and not much of a coconut taste i suggest that they try using the a mix packet from NOH of Hawaii. Last was the Manapua i don't think they steam it ~ nothing like the vendors on the side of the road coming through the Pali.
    But all in all it was Ono!! I will go back and will sugest it do everyone.

    I didn't even know the place exisisted til my family and I went to the fair this year! The food is great, people are friendly, and weather permitting you can eat outside. I would recomment this little restaurant to everyone craving something out of the ordinary!!!
