Memories Bridal & Evening Wear

I have been to Memories Bridal and Evening wear two times and each time I was very impressed with my experience. The ambiance of Memories exceeds many of the expensive boutiques that I visited, including Kleinfelds. They are great at creating small "store in store's" that allow for ease of shopping. The bridal gowns are located on the second floor and you are able to walk around and choose the dresses you would like to try on - your sales associate also helps select any dresses you may have missed (they know what looks good on different brides' body types and what will suit their wedding/personality). The first floor has some great pageant/prom dresses, MOB dresses, and shoes. One thing that I was really surprised to find out is that they offer tuxedo rental and from what I hear it is the same quality and name brands that some other tux shops offer but at a better price. I did not purchase my dress here (I ended up going with a couture gown by Junko Yoshioka) but I highly recommend Memories Bridal if you are looking for a fantastic dress that won't cost you an arm and a leg.... you'll still get a fantastic experience and in many cases - better than any of the super expensive stores. Definitely worth the trip to Kalamazoo!

I have to say, I am NOT much of a shopper. In fact, I'd rather go to the dentist than go shopping, especially for a dress. However, I would go back to Memories (and look forward to it) in a heartbeat! The staff was incredible. I went in with a photo of an idea of what I was looking for, and they were able to just bring me dresses while I tried them on. Now that's my kind of shopping! They also had an incredible selection of designers. In that weekend (an off season weekend in October), I drove from Kalamazoo, to Grand Rapids, to Lansing, to St. Joe, to Stevensville- and NOBODY had the selection like Memories.
I will definitely be using them again the next time I need a dress for a formal occasion!

The quality service and fit have exceeded our expectations. The tuxedos were so clean and crisp, I thought they were new. This store is affiliated with 6000 other tuxedo dealers around the country so fitting my out of town guests was a simple. The staff was very professional.
