I like to be smooth all over, like in competitive swimming, and for years I have needed to block plenty of time every weekend for shaving. Recently, my broken dominant wrist had me thinking there must be a better way. Shaving lefty in a full arm cast was messy, exhausting, and all but impossible. Years ago I had experienced a back wax that was fine, but the ladies’ nail and hair salon atmosphere did not make me want to try it again; I never did go back. Barbara’s ad said she is one of the best male waxers in San Diego County, that she’s a Registered Nurse, and that her studio is private. I had the broken arm, lots of time on my hands, way too much body hair, and no other plan. It turns out Barbara does full body waxing and her website claimed the “male Brazilian” was not as bad as you would imagine, so I took a small leap of faith.

Arriving for my appointment, I noticed Barbara has a sign by her front door that says “Relax”. That helped, but it was Barbara’s nursing experience and professionalism that put me at ease. Instead of being at all anxious with such intimacy, she communicates confidence, respect, and an atmosphere in which I could just relax and let her do her job. She kept me talking throughout the full body wax; that helped to reduce the discomfort. And, the pain dissipates immediately. The result was Fantastic! I was smoother from waxing than ever before from shaving, and the regrowth was slow, sparse, and soft. She called the day after my first time full body waxing to see if I was okay, and that really exceeded my expectations.

Barbara is the expert on waxing men. Her studio is large, clean, attractive, and completely private. You can relax. I returned for a touch-up the day my cast was removed, and I have had a second Brazilian waxing since then, as well. Anyone in Southern California who wants the best waxing experience need look no further than Barbara at Skin Trade Spa. It’s one place you can relax.

Barbara is a true professional . I receive the male brazialian once a month . Private setting and Barbara is very dedicated to what she does. I like the way she does the brazilian waxing. She keeps you comfortable and relaxed. I am very happy with the great work she has done. I'm glad I found Barbara at skintrade.
I will always use this service!!!!!!

Barbara is the best! Her treatments are so relaxing and soothing. The environment is very zen-like; very peaceful. I always feel great after one of Barbara's expert facials. I give Barbara and Skin Trade my highest recommendation. You'll love it.
