You Say Tomato

My ultimate, most favorite place in town to eat. Nothing says homemade comfort food, a cozy neighborhood atmosphere and the friendliest staff I have ever had the pleasure to meet, like You Say Tomato!

The menu board changes daily as they take advantage of locally produced products while still maintaining some of the old favorites as well. The entrees are creative, delicious and filling with the option of fresh side salads or my personal favorite, chopped mixed fresh fruit, yum!

The desserts, like the menu, tend to change daily and are, in my sweetest opinion, absolutely to die for! Fresh rolls, coffee cake, cookies, cakes, pies and homemade ice cream make my trip from Olathe worth the ride.

Call them and they will gladly fix you a "to go" meal that you can pick up in the afternoon and warm up after work. Trust me, your honey will love your thoughtfulness and if you add one of the desserts to your menu, she may be willing to share and you could find out just how thoughtful she thinks you are!

A former food retail space has been converted to this cozy, Dutch Hill neighborhood cafe. The small but delicious menu is accented by the warm, friendly and eclectic atmosphere. A limited amount of grocery and produce items are still available for sale in the original cabinets and coolers, creating a feeling of nostalgia. I have only had breakfast here, but various items are offered throughout the day. The food has been excellent and the staff very friendly and courteous. This cafe adds the perfect flare to the unique area of Dutch Hill!
