The food was great. The TV's are up way too high. And, it's usually very crowded.
I came all the way from Long Beach just to see the Lakers play- and WIN the Championship- (somewhere other than the Los Angeles area).
I arrived 45 minutes before tip-off and was seated within 10 minutes.
The clam chowder was Excellent and the salsa for my chips and salsa was mild but very flavorfully different- not just tomato/onion/pepper. The Irish Root Beer was good but a little watery. I had a couple of Guinness'- alas, they don't carry Newcastle.
I was done by half-time and paid my bill promptly but the staff never rushed me out. I stayed for the rest of the game. The staff did not dawdle watching the game and I did not have to wait long for anything.
The minus would be that the TVs are too high up- neck strain sitting on hard, wooden chairs leaning against a brickwall ledge overhang for 3 hours was a bit much.
This place has good food and great atmosphere. Unfortunately, there's always a waiting time. But its worth the wait... Try the cobb salad - its my favorite!
