Mikaku Japanese Restaurant

Pro- decent sushi
Con - Bad service, non-sushi items are below average. I tried some noodles - they were bland. A friend of mine tried chicken teriyaki - it was dry and bland and he had to put a lot of soya sauce on it to make it taste.
It took them an hour and a half to serve food to a party of 5. It is also overpriced for the kind of food and type of service they have. A taste of the bad service we got - An hour after ordering our food one of the servers asked us 'so why don't you guys order something.'

Five Stars. This is the best Sushi I have had in New England. This rivals San Francisco, Vancouver and New York City for quality of the food, and the presentation . Nice decor too.

I have had both sushi and sashimi here, both are excellent and a great variety. The owners are nice people too, very friendly and cheerful service.

This is the most beautiful looking sushi too, rolled to perfection.

Never mind it beats all the restaurants in the Shrewsbury area, Mikaku is better than the Boston Japanese restaurants too. Well worth the trip.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews of this place. I got my meal to go and brought it back to work. It was great.
