One lazy Saturday evening, after many mixed views read online, my boyfriend an I decided to give Calabria a call and order some take out. Now don't get me wrong we weren't expecting perfection but the lobster in my pasta was extremely chewy, which is a sign of being old and some of the ravoili was actually empty. The calamari was tasteless and the cucumbers in the salad were transparent, showing signs of them being rotten. The portions were however, a good size. After it was all said and done $70 dollars later, we were amongst the very many un-impressed.

I've lived in this area all of my life and my husband and I dine out at least 2x a week. We never think to go here. We tend to head to other places instead. Perhaps some additional advertising might do this lovely restaurant some good!

Well, finally my mother and I decided to head there for a quick dinner.

Very charming decor. The service was outstanding and the food was fabulous! They have a pretty extensive menu - several pasta choices, beef, fish and chicken. My mother chose the cheese ravioli and loved it! I chose the Chicken Parm and also adored it. The ravioli came with a side salad - the chicken parm came with two sides - I chose a side salad and pasta. I must say, the garden salad was amazingly fresh and very delicious! Their Italian dressing was very flavorful, I was impressed (I'm very picky w/salads and dressing). All meals come with fresh, sliced Italian bread which is very good. Portions were extremely generous (I took about 1/2 of my meal home as did my mom, we were full when we left!).

It was rather busy for a Wednesday evening... very surprising! Our waitress was great and she even offered us "extra sauce" when she asked if we wanted to take the rest of our meal home. I thought that was a nice touch.

I highly recommend it. VERY delicious. Family friendly (there were a few families in there), casual attire, a nice (but small) bar and surprisingly spacious inside.

Parking isn't quite as accommodating but it's worth searching for a spot!

Definitely try it out. We'll be back!

I have been there several times. and always the service is awesome. the food is delicious. There alfredo sauce is orgasmic and delicious.
