User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsThe food is good but never, ever book an event here!!! I recently had a baby shower and while the room was nice and the food was good, the service was atrocious! The event coordinator didn't respond to most of my telephone calls or emails. They only had one waiter for a 50 person event. The waiter didn't take drink orders until I asked him to even then he argued with me about it and went around after most people were finished eating! The level of professionalism is pathetic.

Absolutely Amazing!
My husband and I ate at Eleven Forty Nine Saturday night and we were thoroughly impressed. My husband who studied culinary arts is an exceptional cook so it is difficult for us to go to a restaurant and appreciate a meal but 1149 was absolutely SUPERB!!! I don't use that word often but it's difficult to find the words to express our enjoyment. The service was top rate from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we left the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant was fun, cozy, warm and sophisticated all at the same time. The culinary experience was out of this world from the Calamari appetizers, the pork tenderloin I had and the short ribs my husband had all the way through to the Cheesecake we shared it was all pure bliss. Thank you 1149 for not letting us down! -

Fantastic Food, Fantastic Service, A Great Place to Grab a Drink. 1149 Has it all from food to entertainment. Sunday Brunch is outstanding ... Local Bands , Wine Dinners , Cigar Dinners ... The Steak Sandwich is fantastic, The Executive Chef creates incredible specials.A Diamond in the Rough for Rhode Island.
