    Our family comes through Tehachapi every few years, and have known the area since the early 1980's. We say "Brava!" to MHB which adds a fun niche to a dry and western-y town. Good adverts with menus brought us in, and we were not disappointed. Orders of vegetarian chili with cornbread side, old-school cooked oatmeal and hot chai with soy milk graced our table in a short time. All were good and filling. We got real fruit (ALL fruit) smoothies for the road which made the drive to Vegas sweet and refreshing. The eclectic environment proved stimulating, and there was a comfort of home feel without being too shabby or hippyish. It was very clean and comfortable. Love the themed artwork and multi-ethnic engagement. Live music (presented regularly) seemed to have good variety, and we were disappointed to have missed the weekend performance. If we lived in Tehachapi, this would be a regular haunt for us.

    Great Coffee, Great Food and LOVE the Atmosphere, lots of comfy chairs and sofas.
