User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis is a quality restaurant that, unfortunately, received its liquor license, taking it out of the bargain category. The pizza is excellent, as are the pastas (although one has to remind them to cook them al dente). Chicken and veal shine also. Service is friendly and efficient, and the new owners have upgraded the decor. A good restaurant in a town that needs one.-
An update one year later: We didn't visit this restaurants for reasons that are not important and recently returned. The food is still good, although the bill is more than double what it was in the good old BYOB days. The pizza crust is still wonderful, but my favorite pizza, with shrimp, came with tasteless canned shrimp, not the fresh ones that I remember. This is a serious lapse for a restaurant with such ambitions. Otherwise, fine pasta and meat dishes. Outdoor dining, too.

Arrivederci Trattoria NEVER uses canned shrimp!! Obviously this customer reviewing the restaurant doesn't know the difference! As far as the liquor license goes, it was a long time coming for the town of Sherman and much requested. Our prices are still reasonable and this customer can come on Tuesday or Wednesday for our Dinner For Two special to get a great meal and a free bottle of wine! Check it out on our website.
