User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsWhile I'm not one to actually write reviews of national restaurant chains, this particular one inspires me to have to say something about it. While the food and atmosphere is what you would expect of Chili's. What inspires me to say something about it is the inflexibly obdurate manner the planners for placement of their chain stores is, as it becomes apparent with this storefront alone that they simply don't negotiate.
According to what I've seen of Chili's -- the way they place their storefronts is that the main entrance of the storefront *has* to face out to the main road. In this case, it's facing a granite and shale abutment that makes it impossible to be seen from George Washington Highway. Meaning that all parking is done in the rear, and you have to walk around to this sparse and spartan front area of grass and rock.
Perhaps next time, the planners will think twice about sticking adamantly to their building policies.

I find it amazing that people can't just get over this! How about the fact that once you get inside, you are greeted by a friendly hostess, the bartenders and waitstaff are fabulous and are on top of it even though this is one of the busiest Chili's in New England and the management staff is highly visible? If you've been there more than once, chances are your server will remember you and what you had before and perhaps they even noticed that you didn't like one of the side items that came with your meal previously and offer you a different one on this visit. But No, people can't get over that they have to walk 50 extra feet to get inside. Its a shame. One of the best Chili's around in my opinion! Thanks.
