Our son had a special day in church and we were looking for a nice place to celebrate the day. After check the regular options that are all the same greasy, PA Dutch class foods, we remembered the new place, The Pied Piper. So on a rainy Sunday, a larger group of us went and were seated rather quickly even thought the place was packed and there was another large group from the same church waiting as well.
The young waitress we had was pleasant and had a great attitude with all her customers. The food came in a timely manner and the portions were big. It was less that $50 for 7 of us to have a large breakfast including and HUGE eclair that was to die for!
Look forward to going back.
As a single person coming into the restaurant, I was only offered a counter seat. I requested a booth. Although the hostess seated me, she make a point to tell me that they do give single customers a table or booth during busy times. This is discriminatory and rude. I can't believe how insulting this was. I walked out and will NEVER go back.
Nice selection of food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent and friendly. Food was average to better then most diners in the area.

why do you think that it was "discriminatory and rude"? because they where busy and you wanting a table would have taken up four or more places by sitting by your self?
Yup! And I would have spent more money than the two seniors sitting in another booth just sipping coffee.
