San Tan Brewing Company

Stopped by Wed night while walking around the Art Walk, and sat on the patio for a beer. Good atmosphere on patio. Right along sidewalk, so you could watch people as you drank. The bar had awesome music playing on speakers as well! Asked the waitress for a light beer and she reconmended the Sunspot Gold. Good microbeer for a new brewery. This place is a trap. The location is blocks away from the Chandler PD. Went there and was served multiple beers in 90 minutes in good spirits, was approached by the owner and another big guy and asked to leave, did not know it was the owner and had words with them as I felt threatened. I did leave and went to my car which was in front of the bar and moved my car a 100 feet down the street away from San Tan and parked as I had a ride coming for me. The owner called Chandler PD without offering a cab or warning then proceeded to lie to the cops that I was urinating by my car. Was approached by cops while my car was parked and i was at least 30 yards away. They cited me for DUI as they said the owner saw me drive a hundred feet. Beware everyone as this establishment likes to snitch. The owner later said he was not sure if i was urinating. This was after I spent $50 including the tip for the bartender. Any good establishment will get a cab or at least tell you not to move your car or they will call the police in this situation i was railroaded.

My husband and I went 7/24/09, the crowd was mid 30's to late 40's, which is what we wanted, but the music was louder than the next nightclub we went to, everyone was screaming over each other to have a conversation. Brooklyn pizza, was not that, it was horrible, being from NY, I know. Plus my beer was WARM in a very cold glass, too bad it didn't help my beer get cold, didn't drink it. We will never go back to this place.
