Well I went in to have my Trek serviced and got a call a couple days later and was told there was a problem with my bike. I called back and found out my bottom bracket had delaminated. They told me that Trek should warrent the frame. Afew days later I received another call and was told they ( the Hub) had to ship my frame to Trek for approval. Well another week went by and another call from the Hub and trek had approved my warranty and that I would be getting a new frame and it was going to be a Trek Madone I believe a 5.2 series. So another few days went by and another call and was told I am not getting a 5.2 but a 5.5 and did I want the performance or sport frame. So now I have this killer bike that the GREAT GUYS at the HUB have assembyled for me. The only complaint I have is they can not make me as fast as my new bike. So guys let me know when you have that up grade ready.

    Hi,
My name is Dave Santucci.I've lived here in Roseville all my life.(56 years) I've seen a lot of bussinesses come and go.
I would like to praise this bike shop,it's always a pleasure going in there. The way they operate, they are going to be around a long time.
The employees there are friendly, helpful, and really know their bike bussiness.
I would especially like to praise their store manager Mike Deetz. What ever the're paying him isn't enough! He always sells me exactly what I need and no more.....No high pressure sales stuff here, and thats much appreciated!
You've got a great store, keep up the great work.I've been recomending you to all my friends.
Again, many thanks to Mike, your the greatest
    Dave Santucci

    No pissing match here!

Back in July I bought a Trek Hybrid 7.2FX. I spent 3 weeks looking at it and I quizzed 3 salespersons. I described in detail what I needed a bike for, what I currently had and what I wanted to be different about the new bike. I had all three sales people recommend the same type of bike. I thought that it was important that the sales staff was consistent.

The guys at the hub don't make the bikes, they assemble them. I had a small but continual problem with my Trek's rear de-railer. The guys at the hub adjusted it until it was right. I bought the bike to commute to work. I logged several miles per day and quickly gave the stock seat a stress fracture. I took the seat back to the Hub and showed it to them. They gave me a loaner seat and contacted the manufacturer and got me an upgraded seat, FREE of charge. Once I had a flat and had to get it repaired immediately. I called while on my way and told them that I was stranded and getting a ride from a co-worker. They said no problem and when I arrived, they quickly repaired the flat. I had a similar experience with a broken spoke.

I have outfitted my bike with a variety of accessories from grips to pedals to lights, a computer and a rack and side bags. Now there are a couple of schools of thought, like buy on the Internet and save money or buy at a store and have someone to talk to who is local if you have a problem with your purchase. I guess I am old school. I prefer to buy local and support my local economy. The funny thing is, when I did the math, the Internet did not save me much of anything after shipping, except for one item.

I know everyones name there and they all know mine. I get personal attention, have a great bike and have made a few friends. I can not say enough great things about "the hub." From someone with incredibly high standards, I honestly and wholeheartedly recommend the Hub highly.

Today I had my 90 day tune up. It came free with my purchase. My bike was washed, checked over, adjusted, lubed and my wheels were trued. I took it for a quick ride tonight and it is like having a new bike all over again.

I would like to thank Heath for having such an all purpose shop with a host of great employees. I'd like to give a shout to Brian, who knows the store like the back of his hand and gets things done. I also want to thank Monty for his mad skillz and dedication to detail and perfection.

Expect quality from the Hub. Expect great customer service and knowledgeable employees who are there for you over and over again.

    Happy riding,

    Jim, Roseville
