I have called several times to make an appointment and have never received a call back. Then I found out that the groomer I had heard so well about was gone and a new one was coming in. Bad customer service as of yet... still waiting for a call back.... will have to go somewhere else I guess

That groomer you heard so well about Karen left her job without notice to the business or any of the clients who had appointments. She did the same to Petco and Petsmart. I am sure she won't be getting any references from those businesses or clients. The new BAMI stylist, Lorie, has more experience, maturity and a true love and understanding of animals. Its unfortunate that you didn't get a call back, but I hear that the salon is booked out three weeks. In this economy, that is great!

Karen, the one who responded to your post is actually Ian Bojarski, the owner of Bark Avenue. Banana stands for "Biscuits and Nana". I did not leave either Petco or Petsmart without notice. I did however leave Bark Avenue due to mistreatment from the Owner, a lack of respect and a huge cut in pay. I will be back, keep your eye out for a new grooming shop opening on the Island soon :)
