Hillbilly's Restaurant & Saloon

I've only been in Hillbilly's a few times. But that is exactly why I'm writing this review. Everytime I've went there, I was treated like a "regular". I've been to lots of places, especially those in small town communities, where you get treated like a second class person, if you're not a regular.

As for the food, I hear it's excellent, haven't tried it. If your looking for relax, have a drink, and maybe share a few jokes with some of the most familiar strangers you'll ever meet, Hillbilly's is a safe, fun, and relaxed environment to accomplish just that.

okay....i just wanted to put my two cents in to previous postings. I have been down to Hillbillies on numerous occasions and I can definitely see where nooknook is coming from. The female owner doesn't like very many people and as far as the heavyset girl...she's just very quite. Hillbillies food is AMAZING that is definitely something that EVERYONE would agree on. As far as poor service- sorry mam but you have got to be mistaken. Maybe it takes 10 minutes or so for a waitress to get to the table (which I have also had to wait) but have you seen the place?? IT'S ALWAYS BUSY. I'm sure you didn't walk in there and the place was empty and you waited 30 minutes because I know that the owners would have their little behinds. Also, I don't understand where your coming from when you say it's not a family resaurant at night but then you say that they wouldn't start kareoke for you because there was a little girl in there. I wouldn't want them to start kareoke while my little girl was in there. You can't have it both ways and it seems to me after reading your blog your a difficult person to please. Maybe that's why the waitresses are hesitant on waiting on you....have you ever thought about that?
Another thing...Hillbillies is not a hoosier/red-neck bar. They have the country setting inside the place but it is always very clean and the people there are very nice! They aren't taking my order saying "hi ya'll can i help you"? You have the hoosier/redneck people coming in but you will get that at any bar that you go to.
Basically, to anyone that is reading these reviews and you haven't been there- I can assure you as a valuable customer that Hillbillies has the best food and the things said about the waitresses and/or owner is not completely true. You can't believe everything you hear and enjoy your visit! They have TONS of things going on all of the time such as pool tournaments, wii bowling, poker, kareoke, and wait until you see Santa on Christmas!! (but they're not a family restaurant right)?? C'mon!

GREAT PLACE !.. Probably the best place I know of anywhere to get wonderful food in huge portions from a monster menu at great prices in a friendly atmosphere. There is always something there to do like Karaoke, Texas Hold um, Wii bowling, shooting pool or just sitting at the sports bar hanging out with friends. The decor is terrific with plenty of seating and games for the kids. So definitely stop in there for a great meal and be sure to ask about the 5 pound burger!
