This is in response to the previous post.

As Owners of Robolli's we would like to shed light on this situation.
As everyone knows there are 2 sides to every story.
First I would like to say that this is an extreme attempt to soil our great reputation and that is obvious.
Why didn't this customer post after the first few unhappy visits? Go figure?
When these customers came in on their last visit, we actually went to their server and warned them of their habitual complaining and told our server that they had visited 3 or 4 times previous and always complained about something. SO we knew it was coming. When the hair in the garlic knot situation happened, we looked at the bread on the table and could not see anything wrong. The husband then grabbed the garlic knot pulled it off the table down towards his lap and brought it back to the table, threw it down and said "you don't see that
blond hair, Oh My F****** God'. It is funny as we have no kitchen staff with long hair much less Blond or Brunette. But his wife's hair is about the same length and color as the hair he produced from the bread. He then proceeded to drop the F*** Bomb at least 5 more times before we asked him to leave and never return to our restaurant. We are a family establishment and we didn't want all of the commotion they were causing. It is also funny how they wanted us to box their pizza up so they could take it home. If I found a hair from any restaurant in anything, I surely would not want to take any other food home with me.
We did not ask them to pay for the dinner/lunch.They conveniently forgot to mention
how we have offered and treated them to complimentary appetizers in the past, for their so called "terrible service". Customers like this are unfortunately going to visit establishments
looking to eat most or some of their dinner then complain enough to get it FREE.
    SAD But true.
We don't mind that these folks will never be back as it keeps a table open for our truly honest and appreciative customers, who love our food and service and have for the last 2 years.
Just look at the rest of our feedback and pass over this unfortunate situation and the truth about our establishment will be proven.

Verbally Attacked and Cursed at in Front of Our Child for Notifying Management of Hair in Food

I'd like to start this by saying that historically, this restaurant has fantastic food. Unfortunately, their service leaves a lot to be desired. My family and I have been there many times since they opened their full service dining in July. Most often, we opt for delivery just because we were not fond of their service.

Since we were out and about, my husband, son and I (9 months pregnant) went today (9/27/09 - 3 p.m.) to get some pizza before returning home from shopping. The service again left a lot to be desired, but when the food is historically phenominal, you sacrifice crappy service for great food. The service again was not very good, but we were hungry. The service being bad is not why I am giving a 1 star review.

We ordered Garlic Knots (usually great), but found a hair baked into one of the knots. We notified our server, WANTING NOTHING IN RETURN, who deferred to management. When management (one of the owners) came to the table to ask about the problem, he denied even seeing the hair - which was completely evident (a long, brunette hair woven in the dough). The owner continued blatantly denying the hair's existence, until my husband ripped the knot apart and pulled the hair out for him to see. At this point both owners were standing at our table and started accusing us of being constant complainers. (The second owner, Kirk/Kurt, had been complained to once by me: the first time we went. It took so long to get our food that I had to break out some peanut butter crackers for my son and my pregnant self just to get us by, not to even mention that my son fell asleep even before his individual pizza arrived. At that time since they were new, I spoke with the owner to alert him. This was to help him out, not to get anything for free.)

Accusations kept flying from the owners to us, and then Kirk/Kurt actually began cussing in front of my three year old and said that he felt sorry for my son to have a father like that. He accused my husband of being a bad father. At that point my husband stopped being nice, and words flew from both sides. I hurried to get my son out of the restaurant because of the way we were being treated, spoken to and cursed at. My three year old did not understand why the owner was attacking his dad. As I got my son to the car, my husband was coming out the door, still being yelled at. I was so upset that I was shaking - keep in mind that I am 1 week away from having a baby. As my husband was walking to the car, the first owner was yelling at us in the parking lot telling us that they don't like "our kind" and never to come back. I am still wondering what "our kind" is other than customers who alert mangement to problems so they can be addressed rather than never saying anything and just bad-mouthing the restaurant to friends and family.

We will never be back, nor will we ever order delivery again, but that's because we don't want to support a business that operates that way and thinks it is alright to treat customers and families so poorly.

Both my husband and I have worked in the service industry for years and would have never treated customers the way were treated today, nor would we ever speak the way they did in front of children. We were verbally attacked so severely that I had to calm my son down and explain why some people are just mean and rude.

I give this restaurant a single star, only because zero is not an option.

It was great pizza back when they were only a pizza place, and since opening up a full italian restaurant the other dishes they've added are just as good. Excellent stromboli and awesome garlic knots! We've been in the restaurant a few times now, and the staff has been attentive and friendly each time. Will continue going back, and will keep ordering the garlic knots lol.
