We strive to educate our customers when necessary, about the importance of addressing structural defects in trees which may be a hazard to persons or property. All work needed is explained in advance, and our customers are never hit with any surprise charges. All work is performed to industry standards in order to keep your trees healthy and beautiful. We do not practice the antiquated technique of "topping" trees, and we will not prune your healthy, living trees with "leg spikes" or "gaffs". Although acceptable for removing a tree, leg spikes have no place in a living tree. This would be similar to humans sharing intravenous needles. Proper training, safety, and their application in the field make Kittatinny Tree Service the right company when choosing a tree care provider in Warren, Sussex, and Hunterdon Counties, as well as Western Morris County. Wow!!!!! This one word says it all. David was professional, showed up when he said he would, did everything discussed in the quotation and did a wonderful job right down to the clean-up....I mean, come on, the guy even took out a leaf blower to get rid of the small wood dust generated by his chain saw.
I finally feel safe in the rain and snow, now that I know tree limbs are not going to come crashing through the roof.
Aside from the review of the actual work above, the price was honest and fair, and David really enjoys his work. He is not the typical tree cutting company as he did not just want to clear cut all my trees...he believes in saving what you can and keeping the trees healthy.
Again, I highly recommend Kittatinny Tree Service and will use them again for all my tree needs. This was the first contractor I have had in a long while that met and exceeded my expectations...just a true professional and a very likeable staff on top of that. -

I don't live in Kittatinny's service area, but found the owner's free, high quality instructional tree cutting videos on viewdo.com and on kittatinny's web site.
I found the information clear and helpful, and was pleased that a business owner would take the time to provide a service like this to the public, especially in this current economy, and especially when it could potentially cost him revenue from folks who decide to try to do it themselves. If I did live in their service area, this is the kind of company I would trust to do work for me.
