Upscale, Casual 75 seat restaurant & Bar. Intimate setting, warm & inviting atmosphere. Modern traditional cuisine with Mediterranean flair. Grilled entrees, seasonal salads, fresh pasta and homemade desserts. Wine list, local drafts and creative cocktails with in-house infusions. Live music, call for dates.
I travel an hour to get to this amazing restaurant, and I live in an area where there are many fabulous restaurants to choose from. I was raised in NY and experienced the creme de la creme of culinary pleasures. Picasso is one of my all time favorites - superior food, generous portions, festive bar, friendly service, lovely ambiance, and quaint location. Last night I had the spinach/arugala salad topped with sweet potato, gorgonzola and broiled scallops. The scallops were broiled to perfection! For my drink I had a luscious peach sangria. I would have had a second, but I was driving home and the alcohol content was ample. The decaf cappuccino put just right finish to this splendid meal. I can't wait to return and have their rack of lamb (or maybe one of their fish specials...) Yummy!!!
I have eaten at Picasso's several times, and the food has always been delicious. We recently had dinner there with a friend on a Saturday night. The place was packed as usual. We were seated in a corner booth, which I thought would be nice & quiet. I couldn't have been more wrong! It was so loud in there, we couldn't hear each other without shouting at the top of our lungs, which is obviously what everyone else was doing. It was the most unenjoyable evening I've had in a long time. Couldn't wait to get out of there. The meal was fine, but if something isn't done to improve the acoustics, we will not be returning.

My husband and I have had dinner at Picasso probably more than fifty times in the last couple of years. In all of that time, we have been treated with the greatest respect, kindness, and patience. We have also observed the sincere devotion of every member of the staff - from the talented and intelligent owner, the bartenders, the hostess, and the dedicated waitstaff - and we have always been impressed with their work ethic and genuine pride that they take in working at this very special place. Perhaps you confused this with some other restaurant. You haven't taken the time to explain what happened to you at Picasso, but your harsh review is unconvincing because you provide no specifics. We all have to be careful to use the power of these reviews very thoughtfully. When something fails to meet our expectations, it is only fair to be specific so that those involved might have the chance to respond or to correct an error. Under any circumstances, as a longtime customer, I want to go on record with the comment that Picasso is in every way a 5-star restaurant. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is charming, and the service is outstanding. It is ironic that in your review you use the words "uncivil, impolite, discourteous." These words could well be applied to your "review" ( and just for the record: the plural of waitress is "waitresses" not "waitress's."). You might want to avoid such errors as they tend to undermine your credibility.
