Excellent food and exceptional service. We went on a Friday night about 7:30 and were able to walk right in. Outdoor tables are also available. I enjoyed the crab chowder (entree) and my wife had the tenderloin. Both were exceptional. When we weren't familiar with some of the wine brands, the waitress (without our asking) brought us a small sip to make sure were were happy with our selection. I really appreciated that because I changed my choice after the tasting. The wine prices seem a little steep, but most restaurants are. I know anyone can have a bad experience on any given night, but really have difficulty agreeing with the two bad reviews I read. It may be these reviews that made it possible for us to walk right in. If our experience was any indication of future experiences, it won't be so easy to get in.
We went here for lunch on the day before Labor Day. It was around 1:00 and on a Sunday. We walked right in and sat inside because all of the tables outside were full. The air was kicking and it was quite cozy. I had the chicken salad sandwich with the pasta salad and it was very good. My friend had the chicken poblano sandwich and the chicken tortillo soup and liked it.
SHOCKING....!!!! This is the first time I have ever written a review on a restaurant... but this place is just awful!! Bad food, bad decor, so many spelling mistakes on the menu that I stopped counting and a waiter that was just as dull as the meals he served. The meal was pre-cooked and re-heated. Luke warm at best. The sauce had curdled, the broccoli was wilted... I am not even going to comment on the taste. Sent the food back and didn't order anything else. The waiter still had the balls to charge me full price for it....Don't stop - walk on.... (and if I may add a recommendation, go next door, to Red Salt. That place is absolutely FAB!!)
