Two words...Don't go. The service was slow, our waiter preferred to hang out at the bar and chat or wander around than take our order. Once he finally did take our order, he brought my husband an entree that he did not order. The waiter failed to come back by to check, so we called over another server who took away the wrong entree. The waiter then finally came by to find out what the problem was. He then told us that the entree my husband wanted was not available that night. The manager seemed uninterested. Also, there was a large party going on outside on the patio. We had an indoor table. The door to the patio was left open and the cigarette smoke as well as the noise filtered into the restaurant. Three servers were having a heated argument about something one of them thought was taken from them. The manager never told them to be quiet or take their argument to the back of the house. Terrible experience. We will not go back.
Tried thisplace when it first opened a year ago and had friends say the service was bad.
Since I see the notes from the new chef I will give it a try the weekend of Oct 16. We always go to TV in Atlanta and it is very good.
We will give it another try,.
What a disappointment.......the Trader Vics in Seattle is probably my favorite restaurant - with wonderful service. The restaurant was not too busy but the waitress was slow slow and forgetful. We ordered appetizers and after 35 mins they were brought along with our main courses. The main courses went back to the kitchen and when we finished with the appetizer it took another 20 mins for the food to show up. The food was pretty good but the experience made me sad as the service ruined it. I really hate being ignored by the wait staff.

I would like to thank flygirl for her comments. I am the Chef and, for a long time, I had to endure horrible front of the house service that was not a reflection of the kitchen. I had to eliminate the entire front of the house management, bring in a manager from Atlanta, and retrain everyone from the bartenders to the wait staff. It has been a long and arduous process, but we are making significant progress. We have a new floor manager and bar manager and they are stepping up to try to fix the service issues. While we still have a ways to go to be where I believe we should be, I know that we are 100 times better than before in the service area. I invite flygirl to come back, because I want to show her the difference. I hope I get the chance. Again, my apologies for your experience and I will do whatever it takes to get you back. Thanks for the comments.
