As I drove south on Central, I was so attracted to the name of the place that I turned around, parked, and went in for a meal. Big mistake! I admit that the name Sunrise to Southern actually seduced me, but after i ordered what turned out to be a tasteless, not at all fresh, and not at all appealing to the appetite in appearance meal - the seduction turned to anger because I felt that i had been "had." Oh, but I'm a fair person - so a few weeks later I tried again.(No you didn't?) This time my motivation wasn't as before, but "fairness." After
all, S/S might have had a "bad hair" day - so I went in and order, and guess what? The order was horrible! The service was tacky, and the place was not clean. I threw my order into their trashcan, and left the store. Like they say: "DON'T GO THERE!" Indeed the place has a "catchy" name - but the product and service is a GOTCHA!!!
I like to try out new places in the neighborhood so I walked in here thinking it was a traditional cafe. I really thought it was a regular cafe with different types of coffees and teas with some pastries. I found the name misleading. The food wasn't fresh, but I think it's meant to be this way in their culture. The counters and tables were clean. The person behind the counter was very friendly and attentive, but they were the only one tending to the customers -- slow service. There was a lady sleeping on one of the tables. I'm not sure if she worked there. It's kind of dark looking inside this place. It didn't give me a good impression at all.
