User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI grew up in California and Arizona, and know a bit about good Mexican food. When I moved to DeKalb, I wasn't sure if I was going to find the kind of wonderful Latin flavors I'd grown accustomed to. Luckily, a week before we moved in, "Los Rancheros" came to town. The servers are warm, funny, and helpful, and the food is so delicious and reasonably priced--for under $30 (for two people, including drinks) you can be very well fed. We're regulars now and they notice when we miss a week (though we rarely do). I have tried every other Mexican place in the area, and only Taxco compares in quality (but, it's a bit pricier). With so many local businesses disappearing, I hope people keep patronizing this wonderful local gem.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis is by far the best mexican food around! The staff is friendly and courteous everytime. THe owner Jose, will treat you like family and the food is phenomenal! I always order the pollo ranchero, give it a try! If you come here for dinner or lunch you will not be disappointed!

Don't be fooled by it's outside strip mall appearance, this place is FANTASTIC!
Food is authentic, fresh, full of flavor. Drinks are made with quality booze, and plenty of it. Service and atmosphere are both very nice.
Give this place a shot if you like good mexican food.
