User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsI finally found a neighborhood tavern! I found the drinks to be great and the food was excellent. The chicken paillard was wonderful and the soft shell crabs cooked perfectly. The bartender from South Africa was a kick and the host very welcoming as we came in the door. I will definitely be back...it is good casual dining.

This place is under new management as of 4/2008. Bad deal. The menu is much more limited, the prices are higher, the quality is lower, all the extras have been cut out (not even a plate of bread sticks while you wait some interminable amount of time for food). The service is not just bad - it's indifferent and sarcastic. I had a very unenjoyable meal there with my wife, after numerous enjoyable meals under the old management. We won't be going back and feel a real sense of loss. There are plenty of good places to eat in and around Greenwich. This isn't one of them anymore. Save your money and go to whatever is your favorite other restaurant.

Right on the money! The food quality is second rate and the relaxed atmosphere of its predecessor has been lost.
I disagree, I thought the food for this type of place was right in line, the service on the night we went seemed to be acceptable for a friday night, over all a good time, a restaurant after all only provides the food..and a place to sit......but its the company you dine with that will determine whether its a good time or not.~Chris
