Christina at A. Bridal Company is the best!!! Her bridal shop is near major highways and it is very easy to locate. Her shop is very clean and tidy. She was very attentive to my needs and was very pleasant and upbeat. She worked hard in helping me get a beautiful veil that I had a difficult time finding. Her shop is also very cozy and comfortable. On my first visit with Christina, my mother, future mother-in-law and my 2 daughters came along and it was no problem. She welcomed me and my entourage into her store with no problem. She made all of us feel at home. Everyone was so relaxed and we really had a good time. I was never rushed in any way or pushed to buy anything. We all talked about my wedding, current events and other minor personal issues. That was a good feeling. Her shop has so many dresses, tiaras, jewelry, shoes, favors and anything else you will need for your special day even for the groom. As a matter of fact, I also purchased my tiara, and my bridesmaids jewelry and hair accessories from her all at a very reasonable price. If something was on back order, I didn't have to keep calling her to inquire. She always kept me abrest of everything. All of my purchases still arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Even after my wedding day, she still keeps in touch. This tells me she was not catering to me because she had to or that she just wanted me to purchase from her store. It shows that she is genuinely a nice person and everything that she does, it comes straight from her heart. I can not find any more words to describe what a fantabulous experience I had with Christina. It was very refreshing because at a time when I was really stressed out about my wedding, she was able to alleviate all of the unnecessary headaches. I definitely give A. Bridal Company in Milford, Pa a 10+. Thank you Christina for a beautiful experience.

This was a great bridal shop. My experience firsthand with the owner was fantastic. It's evident that she really, really cares about her customers. The shop is really pretty and offered everything you could possibly want for your wedding. She was very down to earth and wanted to be sure we were comfortable every step of the way. She took the time to explain where everything was in the store and when it came to trying on gowns she gave her honest opinion about how she felt it looked on me. She wasn't just trying to make the sale. I didn't buy my gown that day because I wanted to go to other stores. But I rescheduled and bought my gown there because the price was fair and she really took her time with us. Mom found her gown too and so did my bridesmaids. I highly recommend this store.

Brides beware – this dress shop is not what it seems. After reading the rave reviews, my mum, future mom-in-law and I went for my appt in January 2008. I brought pictures of dresses that I liked and the first shock was the rude comments of the proprietor about these pictures. I was next taken into a dressing room and given a corset to put on, which I can only hope is laundered regularly. Then we tried on dress after dress. Although I know my own tastes and what I am looking for I went into this with the attitude that I am only doing it once, so why not try on anything? Finally we put on a dress that I absolutely loved. It was beautiful, but huge. I am nearly 5’5” and about 130 lbs; I usually wear a 6 or 8. This dress was a 12. Curiously the proprietor didn’t seem optimistic that we would be able to get the correct size from the manufacturer. In fact, although I had about a dozen clips cinching the dress on me, giving my back a demented porcupine look, she insisted that this dress was the correct size for me. She even stuffed bra pads into the front of the dress to try and convince us that the dress only needed a little altering. My mother is a seamstress and from the look on her face it was clear that as much as she loved this dress, there was no way that it could be properly altered to fit me. During the course of the appt, the proprietor was interrupted by a personal phone call, made unprofessional remarks about another client missing her appt and had little patience with her young assistant in training. Once I had on the dress that my mum and I loved, the proprietor started talking about the dress as though I was ready to purchase it there and then. I told her that I had no intention of choosing a dress that day, as I was in the process of moving house and things were in such chaos I was not inclined to make such a big decision.
We did manage to get the information on the dress that I loved, the manufacturer and code, thinking that since the proprietor seemed so reluctant to order the correct size, perhaps we could deal with the company directly. So we were stunned to call the manufacturer and be told that the dress we wanted was discontinued…. In 2001! My mother was terribly upset as she truly thought that we had found the perfect dress for me. All in all, this was an utterly hideous experience, I feel that we were taken advantage of during what is for me a very emotional process and I am quite disgusted with the whole situation. After leaving this shop I did not even want to buy a wedding dress. I hope that this review helps other brides avoid going through a similar experience.

You know what? This review REEKS of having been posted by an out of control bridezilla. Why? You are making dig after dig about stupid, inconsequential things. First off, if you wear a size 8 in regular clothing, you will wear a larger size in a wedding dress. That is common knowledge. It's also common knowledge that 99% of brides have bra pads sewn into their dresses. What it sounds like to me is that you were given very attentive service, and you twisted and distorted it to have something to complain about. As for the dress being discontinued by the designer, this happens all the time. If you loved the dress, you should have bought it. If you wear a size 8, a size 12 could have bee easily altered to fit you. Have you not been to any other bridal shop? ALL of them using sizing clips to simulate how a dress will fit. You know what the worst thing about your review is (aside from your "it's all about me" attitude)......the fact that you have found anything and everything to b*tch about.

Joliette, I think you were just being a "bridzilla". being that your mom suppose to be a seamstress she should know that Bridal gowns run small. That dress could have aseily be altered. Also the bridal veil that I was looking for was also discontinued but Christina call the company itself and she was able to get my veil when other bridal companys couldn't. I think your way overreacting. Get a grip. I can only imagine what your vendors had to go through with you. Christina is one of the most sensitive, attentative and honest a person in her business can be. Christina is the best. I definitely recommend her shop to everyone.

You knew the gown you loved was the last one. It was new. Just remember you fell in love with the gown, not the age. As for interruptions, yes, there were; my assistant was not doing what I needed 4 things 2 run smoothly even w/ repeated explanation. If you recall she was late 2. As 4 a customer "missing" her appt. Not what happened. She didn't call 2 cancel & the appt slot was lost. Serious clients keep their appts & if they can't make it, they call. Its called courtesy. Its not fair 2 brides who want 2 book & can't. Most importantly I'd like 2 know is how I took advantage of you? We spoke 2 your mom wks b4. U & I emailed each other b4 your appt. Your appt was private. No bad comments made about pics/bras R cleaned. U were a sneek trying to get info on dress.

Some postings here seem kinda fishy, I must say I drop in to A Bridal Boutique With an engaged friend I wont say when but sometime ago and initial reaction was crowded dresses and store, attitude towards partner or assistant which made it a bit uncomfortable, and very aggressive. Overall didnt go back. I wonder if the owner is giving reviews . Well we know atleast posting a defense, ok but not so professional...
