Although I'm not a strict vegan, this was the perfect place for a quiet & undisturbed date. Our food was a little too pricy but well worth it. The atmosphere alone is sheak & modern, with some beautiful black & white photographs of celebs. And this really cool chain curtain that provides privacy but works as morden art as well.
Even if you're a picky eater, you can definately find something delicious on their menu and I would recommend this place to anyone- vegan or not.
I'm not a vegan, but I love the funky atmosphere & the food was flavorful. My party of 4 enjoyed every bite. It's my new place to hang on the weekends.
You won't believe that you are eating vegan food, it is simply that good. I personally don't care for the Gardein protein that they offer, but the rest of the menu is amazingly well executed. Especially amazing are the nut "creams" used to give several of the pastas a cream-like texture without any dairy.
From the appetizers to the desserts, it was simply delicious, especially the pizza my dining companions and I split for an appetizer. Service was prompt, professional, and excellent. The entree prices seem a little high to me for vegan food, but given the current state of the economy and the level at which they execute the food they do serve, I think it may be justifiable.
The only down side (and I noticed this a year ago when I first ate here) is that the decor is a double edged sword. While the industrial design decor is a pleasure for the eye, all of the hard surfaces mean that once the restaurant fills up, it can be very hard to hear your dining companions. I had hoped they would've addressed this from a year ago, but it is still a problem unfortunately.
Other than that, I heartily recommend Vegiterranean to everyone, vegans and non-vegans alike.
