   The year I got married was one of the busiest of my life. I had recently converted to Judaism, and my fiancé and I had just joined our Temple. We were both working full-time, and neither of us had any family that lived in town. Needless to say, I was feeling more than a little overwhelmed trying to plan the “perfect” Jewish wedding. I knew I wasn’t going to be able to plan everything alone (and stay sane!), and a wedding planner sounded like my salvation. But who? None of our friends were Jewish, and we hadn’t really met any other couples at the Temple. Luckily, our Rabbi recommended Myriam Solomon.
   
   I will never forget our initial consultation, Dave and I were so nervous! We bought books like Wedding Planning for Dummies, and I wrote out a long list of questions. What if we didn’t “click”? Would she listen to our ideas, or just tell us what to do? Would she help make this day special and unique to us? Also, what if she was just too expensive?
   
   Then Myriam came in, and all my fears were laid to rest. Anyone who meets Myriam can tell in the first few minutes how truly passionate she is for her job. She really cares about each and every bride and groom, and never makes you feel like just some client. To Myriam, you almost become family. Obviously, we loved her from the start!
   
   Myriam listened to all our thoughts, and helped us hammer out all the details. She gave us an excellent list of referrals for our vendors (most of whom we eventually hired), and I even chose to have her do my flowers. At this point, we had spent so much time together, and I knew she would really add that little Myriam magic to make my flowers just absolutely AMAZING!
   
   The day before our wedding, our sweet little wedding planner became a strategic leader. Clipboard in hand, she guided everyone (including both ring bearers and little flower fairies) through rehearsal without a hitch. Everyone knew exactly where, when and what they were doing…we were ready!
   
   On the day of our wedding, my biggest concern all day was whether or not my mascara would run! I trusted Myriam completely to handle all the details (there were many), and the glitches (there were none). Her easy manner and flawless attention to detail let Dave and I truly enjoy one of the greatest days of our lives.
   
   Anyone looking for a wedding planner should hire Myriam. I will warn you though, saying goodbye after your wedding will be tough!

   We knew from the moment we met Myriam that we were in good hands and that our wedding was going to be the best experience ever. Our wedding day was far beyond our expectations! The flow of events, the ceremony, the flowers (magnificent!) and most importantly the sanity she saved us. When planning a wedding you (the bride) tend to lose your mind, Myriam, helps put your mind at ease and that is priceless in planning a wedding. In my experience, it was as much a help to my future husband, who was very much involved yet sometimes didn’t have a clue. Myriam helped us create a budget and then suggested ways to save money. She also would remind us of when we could potentially go over budget; this really helped my future husband get over the financial woes of a wedding. When it came to the flowers she was a God-send! I showed Myriam the flowers I liked and with keeping the budget in mind she suggested how to achieve the same look with similar flowers – for less! I was absolutely amazed at how beautiful the Church/reception looked and smelled- again beyond expectations. Myriam helped create a “to-do” list for wedding planning and then a time-line for the day of the wedding. This was so helpful to all the vendors and especially us. Everyone knew what was to happen when and there were no missed video or photography shots. On the day of our wedding, I worried about nothing. It was wonderful just to sit down and not have to run around worrying if this was done or that was done. We had so many compliments on our wedding, it was a wonderful feeling. I lost my mom two years ago and to plan a wedding without her was a difficult thing to do. Myriam was the mother figure I needed so much during this process. To me Myriam was my Mother Peace. Any event attached to Myriam Solomon’s name will be an event that will be enjoyable, amazing and stress free.

   Myriam Solomon Consulting made all of our dreams come true for our wedding! We loved working with Myriam! We live in Chicago but held the wedding and reception in Ohio. Trying to coordinate the details became overwhelming. Then Myriam took over and there wasn't another stressful moment from that point forward. She instilled confidence from the very first time that we met her. Myriam has years of experience and knows all of the best vendors. We have received dozens of compliments from our friends and family about the ceremony and reception being the nicest they have ever been to and they also mentioned what a fabulous job Myriam did. We appreciated the personal touch that Myriam added; she really took the time to get to know us and understand us. Myriam listened to everything that we talked about and was able to help us realize our vision for the perfect wedding. She had practical and creative ideas for handling everything from the rehearsal dinner to what we could do for a sign in table. All of my vendors have commented on how nice she is and how easy she is to work with. The schedule for the pictures and reception flowed flawlessly and we never had to worry about a thing. As a result, my husband and I were able to just be with our guests and enjoy the evening. Myriam provided a valuable service to us that would be worth it whether planning an event locally or from out of state. My only regret is that we didn’t hire her sooner!
