Pop's Tattoo

I find it interesting that there are so many "positive" reviews for this shop. It almost seems as if the shop's employees asked friends and family to post positive reviews...how novel! Let me explain my personal experience with Pop's. I am an individual with several tattoos and as I'm now living locally, had heard that Pop's was a local business. When I called to do some basic "fact finding," the individual who answered the phone appeared to not want to be bothered to assist me. He asked me to call back later to speak to another employee. I decided that I should step foot in the shop. When I arrived, the staff or friends of staff ( I couldn't quite tell) where clearly mid-conversation and the one person I directed my questions to did not disguise the irritation in his voice when I asked about which artists were able to handle tribal vs. knotwork. Why the attitude? Was I interrupting a heated dicussion about world issues? Uh-no! The lack of customer service and general appearance of the shop was enough to make me look elsewhere for my next tattoo. My impression is that Pop's is a "hang-out" for tweens and twenty somethings. A bit of advise kiddies, drop the attitude. Customer's don't ask for the red carpet to be rolled out, but stop your conversation and answer my questions in a professional manner. After all, it's supposed to be a business.

I didn't like the customer service the first time I walked in, but Craig was the BEST! I needed a cover up tattoo and out of all the surrounding places Craig was the most creative!! His work is really really good. The pricing is a little high but it’s worth it for the quality!!

Wow. Craig is the best in tribal tattoos with his 26 years of experience. I emailed him some sample designs and he worked to incorporate exacted what I wanted and even improved on the basic design. The lines on the tribal wolf are so sharp and clean. If you're in the market for a tribal tattoo Craig is the man to see. I have plans to update my other arm to match my new tattoo to balance them both. Craig has already made some good suggestions for the dragon on my right arm to expand it to make it larger. I will also definitely go back in the future for my tribal work I plan on getting done on my back. I have already referred Craig to my friends for their future tattoos. Two of them are seriously considering getting one before the end of the year. All my friends love my new tattoo.

Now, if you're in the market for some piercings. Keyska is lady to speak to. She has approximately 6 years experience in the industry. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She gives excellent after care instructions. So if you're hesitant or slightly uneasy about the procedure she will ease you into it step by step and talk you through the whole process. I have a total of four piercings done at the shop by Keyska, my tongue, both my nipples and my brow. She works fairly fast and pierces with the greatest of ease, so there's minimal pain.
